CEW Submissions

Chief Executive Women is an advocacy as well as a networking organisation.

As part of its mission to enable more women leaders, CEW regularly makes submissions to government and other bodies in relation to policy about gender and related issues.

In response to the Board Diversity Consultation Paper released by the NSW Government on 16 September 2010, CEW submitted 6 recommendations covering: a target of at least 40% of either gender on NSW Government boards and committees by 2014; transparent governance and appointment processes; annual reporting on board and committee composition and gender mix; use of databases with search and screening capabilities; selection process based on firstly competency and skills, and secondly gender balance; and communication and education.
