Donna-Maree Vinci is a Group Executive and the Chief Operations, Digital and Information Officer at Bank of Queensland (BOQ). Donna’s has experience in operations, risk management and technology, and has a track record of delivering digital disruption and transformation projects for major financial services organisations globally.
Donna joined BOQ from IAG where she was Group General Manager, Group Digital and Group CIO. Prior to that, she was Chief Operations and Information Officer of Westpac’s Institutional Bank. She held executive management roles at Citigroup over 15 years, including Regional CIO and Global Head of Technology Risk Management. Earlier in her career she held senior management roles at Potter Warburg and was a Director at Country Natwest.
Outside of her corporate roles, Donna actively works with not-for-profit organisations in both formal and informal capacities across healthcare, education and community services, to support her passion for giving back and making a societal impact.
Donna is a mentor of Tech Girls Movement (TGM), an Advisor and Speaker for The University of Sydney’s School of Project Management and Queensland University of Technology’s MBA Program, and a Mentor for River City Labs and Muru-D (both start-up tech hubs) in Queensland. She is a Member and Principal Representative for ASEAN of the CIO Roundtable Center for Digital Strategies, Tuck Business School – Dartmouth University. While at IAG she was an Executive Member of the Indigenous Action Group with a leadership role in Career Trackers and Jawun partnerships, IAG RAP. Donna has continued her involvement in Indigenous agendas as BOQ rolls out their reconciliation action plan and partnership with Career Trackers.
