Chief Investment Officer
Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation
Alison Tarditi is the Chief Investment Officer of the Australian Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, which manages the pension assets of Australian Commonwealth Government civilian employees and members of the defence force.
Alison joined the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation after six years as the Director of Equity Strategy with Citigroup in Australia. Previously she worked for BT Funds Management as the Head of Research and Quantitative Asset Allocation Strategies, co-managing a tactical asset allocation overlay product for domestic and international clients. Prior to that, Alison was the Head of the Financial Conditions Section in the Economic Research and Analysis Department of the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Alison is also the Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Long-term Investing Council, a member of the Foundation and Finance Committees of the Art Gallery of New South Wales; and a Director on the Board of ESG Engagement Firm, Regnan.
Alison has a first class honours degree and University Medal from James Cook University and a Master’s of Science from the London School of Economics, both earned under scholarships from the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Alison is an active advocate of raising awareness among female students and young professionals and of the opportunities for purposeful and fulfilling careers in finance and investing. Focusing on the success, rather than the absence, of women in finance and on their positive impact on the world, Alison contributes to the diversity programs of a number of institutional investment organisations, presents to forums for young professional women in super and, importantly in her view, to female university students.
