Dr Tracey Batten is Chief Executive of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust - a national health service trust based in London. It is one of the largest NHS trusts in England and together with Imperial College London forms an academic health science centre. It currently manages five hospitals - Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Western Eye Hospital. Imperial College Healthcare employs around 10,000 people and treats approximately 1.2 million patients each year.
Previously, Tracey was Group Chief Executive Officer of St Vincent’s Health Australia, CEO of Eastern Health and CEO of Dental Health Services Victoria. Prior to that she was Chief of Health Programs Inner & Eastern Health Care Network, Director of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer, St Vincent’s Hospital, and a Fellow in Medical Administration at Geelong Hospital.
Tracey has an MBA from Harvard University, a Master of Health Administration from University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery from the University of Melbourne.
Tracey is currently on the Boards of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Imperial College Health Partners. She is also a Trustee of the Point of Care Foundation.
Tracey regularly mentors female executives and managers in the health care sector.
