Jacqueline Hey is a Non-Executive Director of Qantas Airways Limited, Australia’s flag carrier airline with a revenue in excess of $15 billion per annum. She is a Director of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited, the Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited, Special Broadcasting Service, Melbourne Business School and Cricket Australia, and is a member of the ASIC Director Advisory Panel. She is considered to be a thoughtful and intelligent contributor to board discussions, with a strong grasp of stakeholder concerns.
Jacqueline has 23 years’ experience in the local and international technology and communications industry: as an executive with Ericsson for more than 20 years, she held finance, marketing, sales, leadership and Managing Director roles in Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
From 2004 to 2008, Jacqueline was Managing Director of Ericsson UK and Ireland, including Saudi Arabia (2005-06). Jacqueline was also a member of the Ericsson Global Management Team and on the Ericsson steering boards for Global Hutchison, Global Vodafone and Global IT. She was Managing Director of Ericsson Australia and New Zealand from 2008 to 2010.
Jacqueline is interested in diversity and the richness it brings to society and decision-making, and has always taken a strong role in the development and promotion of women in leadership. She is viewed as a role model for women in technology, finance and marketing.
