Jane Hemstritch was Asia Pacific Managing Director for Accenture from 2004-2007, prior to her retirement. In this role, she was a member of Accenture's global Executive Leadership Team and oversaw the management of Accenture's businesses in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to this,Mrs Hemstritch was the Managing Partner of Accenture's Communications and High Tech Operating Unit for Asia Pacific. From 1999 to 2002 Mrs Hemstritch was Managing Partner of Accenture's Communications and High Tech Practice for Australia and New Zealand, and from 1988 to 1996 Mrs Hemstritch developed and led Accenture's Change Management Practice within Asia Pacific.
Mrs Hemstritch joined Accenture in 1982 and become a partner in 1988. Mrs Hemstritch holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of London. Mrs Hemstritch is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.Jane is currently a member of the Board of Directors of CBA, Lend Lease, Tabcorp, Santos andThe Victorian Opera Company.She is a member of the Council of the National Library of Australia and Deputy Chairman of the Global Foundation. Previously, Jane was a member of the Board of Directors of the Australian Information Industry Association, a member of the Business Council of Australia, a Trustee for the Committee of Economic Development of Australia, and a Council of Governors member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia.
