I truly believe in the vision and mission of the CEW because it’s both pragmatic and fair. Pragmatic, because organisations are more successful and work more effectively if the people who work in them, and run them, reflect both the broader population and the company’s customers. Fair, because I believe there is something innate in all of us that values the idea of fairness. It’s only fair that women who are talented and work hard should be able to advance their careers."

"I have assisted the advancement of talented women – including being a role model for other women, driving cultural change in large businesses, and developing and promoting women into leadership positions. This is not to say I do not recognise and promote talented men – of course I do as retaining and promoting talented people is fundamental to the success of any organisation. But I am, especially conscious and active in the need to support, grow and sponsor talented women."
