Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Designate
Jeanne Johns is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Designate of Incitec Pivot. She has over 25 years of experience in international industrial and commodity businesses, including petrochemicals and oil and gas.
Jeanne’s most recent executive experience has been with BP where she held numerous leadership roles in the US, Europe and China managing multi-national businesses and international strategic business development. Her diverse range of positions has included: President, Asian Olefins and Derivatives, President, BP North America Natural Gas Liquids, Head of Operating Management System Excellence for BP Group, with global responsibility for continuous improvement within BP’s worldwide operations and Head of Safety & Operational Risk, BP Downstream, a role to which she was appointed in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon disaster to lead the transformational effort to address risk management for the downstream business in the company.
Jeanne is a former non-executive board member of Tate & Lyle plc and Parsons Corporation.
Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Cincinnati and has completed the IEP (International Executive Program) at INSEAD and BP’s executive education programs at MIT, Harvard, Stanford and Cambridge.
Jeanne has been an effective developer of talent and she takes pride in a number of these women now leading significant BP businesses. From 2013 to 2015, she was Chairman of the Steering Committee for BP's Women's International Network (BPWIN).
