Kate is a Managing Director & Co-Head of Human Capital Management for Asia Pacific at Goldman Sachs, one of the world’s premier investment banks and financial services providers. Her region includes Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Japan, India, Korea and Taiwan.

She is also Chief of Staff and Head of Human Capital Management for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for all HR and people matters, as well as playing a leadership role in business strategy and planning.

Kate serves on the Goldman Sachs Australia and New Zealand Operating Committee, is a Trustee of the corporate Superannuation fund and serves on a number of senior internal regional and global committees.

Kate has played a leading role in significant organisational changes at Goldman Sachs including the establishment of the joint venture with JBWere in 2003, the divestment of JBWere to National Australia Bank in 2009, and the change to full ownership to Goldman Sachs in 2011.

Kate joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 in London as a fixed income trader before moving to foreign exchange trading, and then Regional Head of recruitment responsible for graduate recruitment across Europe, returning to Australia in 2002 as the Head of Human Capital in Australia. Following senior HR roles for the Commonwealth Bank and Macquarie Bank, she re-joined Goldman Sachs JB Were in 2007 and became the Head of Human Capital Management in 2010.

Kate has been actively involved in the Male Champions of Change as an Implementation Leader to Goldman Sachs CEO, Simon Rothery since 2012.
