Kathleen is a professional non-executive director and thought leader in operational improvement and strategy. She is currently a member of five boards and advisory committees:

• Non-executive director CSR, Member of audit and Chair HR committee

• Non-executive director REA Group, Chair of REM committee, member of audit committee

• Non-executive director, Lynas, Member of Audit and HR committees

• Councillor, AICD New South Wales

• Formerly Member, NSW Government Better Services and Value Task Force and non-executive director DLA Phillips Fox

Prior to becoming a non-executive director, Kathleen was a partner for 7 years with The Boston Consulting Group. During her time at BCG, Kathleen held several Australian and US based leadership positions including Leader of Asia Pacific Operations practice and Leader of the Sydney office. Kathleen was also a core member of BCG's Global Organisation practice.

In her 20 years of professional consulting, Ms. Conlon has assisted dozens of companies achieve increased shareholder returns through strategic and operational improvements in a diverse range of industries. She is one of the pre-eminent thought leaders in the area of operations and change management both in Australia and globally. She holds two patents for change management tools utilised extensively by BCG. Her practice combines a rigorous intellectual analysis with a practical hands-on approach to implementation.

Kathleen has experience in a wide range of industries including food, packaging, paper, industrial products and health. She has worked in Europe, United States, Asia and Australasia.

She has a Bachelor of Arts (economics, distinction) from Northwestern University and a Masters of Management from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Kathleen was awarded the Commonwealth Centenary Medal for services to business leadership in 2003.
