Group Executive for Institutional Banking and Markets
Kelly Bayer Rosmarin was appointed Group Executive for Institutional Banking and Markets in December 2013 and has been with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia since 2004. The Institutional Banking and Markets division is responsible for global relationships with corporate, government and institutional clients, as well as providing a full range of financial services solutions across financial and capital markets, transaction banking, working capital and risk management. The business has offices in eight countries and specialises in solutions tailored for the natural resources, infrastructure, transport and financial institutions industries.
Prior to her current role, she has had a variety of senior roles across both the Institutional and Business Banking divisions, including most recently Executive General Manager Corporate Banking Solutions where she had responsibility for all wholesale products and driving innovation in payments solutions. Before joining the Bank, she was a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, and prior to this spent time in Silicon Valley, USA, both in start-up and established software companies.
Kelly is a Deputy Chair of the Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA), a board member of the Football Federation of Australia (FFA), and the JCA (a community organisation). She is also a member of Chief Executive Women and the Stanford Australia Association (of which she was president for five years). She also serves on the University of New South Wales Engineering Faculty Advisory Board, the FinTech Advisory Group and NSW Government Digital Advisory Panel.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Management Science from Stanford University and received an Academic Excellence Award for being the top Masters graduate. Kelly was also a 2011 Vincent Fairfax Fellow.
