Penne Kehl began her career with Cargill Inc. in 2007 and is now Managing Director of Cargill Grain and Oilseeds, Australia, a significant private company in Australia. Cargill is a US based privately-owned multinational providing food, agriculture, financial and industrial products and services.
Penne is responsible for the Australian Grain & Oilseeds business operations and reports to the Corporate Vice President (Asia Pacific). The Cargill grain operations in Australia include farmer risk solutions, grain and oilseed origination, storage and handling facilities and services, rail and road logistic solutions, grain and oilseed trading, oilseed processing, refining and packaging and specialty oils production and customer solutions.
Penne has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) from the University of Queensland.
Penne worked closely with a CEW member in her previous role and was inspired to assist other women to thrive in the corporate environment. Penne has been a strong advocate of valuing differences, including gender, and was instrumental in developing and supporting local and female talent within the bulk shipping industry in Singapore. Penne is looking forward to enabling other women, especially within the Agriculture Commodities field in which she now operates.
