Penny Ransom is Fund Manager of the Investa Office Fund (IOF), a $4 billion Australian listed real estate investment trust. She is also a member of the Group Executive Committee of Investa Property Group which manages IOF.
Previously, Penny was Fund Manager of the Dexus Wholesale Property Fund and prior to that, Head of Capital at Dexus where she was responsible for creating three joint-venture capital partnerships.
Penny spent 14 years at Lendlease where she held senior roles in investment management, business development and investor relations, finishing as Head of Equity for UK and Europe in 2011.
Penny holds a Bachelor of Business in Land Economics from the University of Western Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.Penny also sits on the NSW Board of Advisers for the Property Industry Foundation and on the NSW Division Council for the Property Council of Australia. Penny is Chair of the Property Council of Australia’s NSW Diversity Committee which she has been involved with since its inception in 2013.
Penny led the creation of the Property Council’s successful Mentoring Program for women in 2014, supporting women who are aspiring to a senior leadership position in the industry. In 2017, the Committee launched the ‘Girls in Property Week’, focusing on developing a pipeline of female talent for the industry.
