As Chief Operating Officer for Telstra, an ASX50 publicly listed company, Robyn Denholm oversees Telstra Operations which is responsible for all aspects of Telstra’s networks, design, build and run and for the delivery of new network services and solutions. Robyn is also responsible for both enterprise and network information technology systems, for group wide property and facilities and the negotiation and delivery of Telstra’s commercial agreements with nbn co.
Robyn has spent the last 25 years in leadership roles in technology companies in both Australia and the US with Juniper Networks and Sun Microsystems. She spent her earlier career with Toyota and Arthur Andersen.
Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics, from the University of Sydney and a Master’s of Science, Commerce, from the University of New South Wales. She is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Over her career, Robyn has mentored a number of women both formally and informally through company sponsored mentoring programs, and the Fortune Magazine US State department mentoring program. She also led the Diversity Council at Sun Microsystems and was an active member and chair of the Sustainability initiatives at Juniper Networks. She has spoken at several International Women’s Day events including most recently at Telstra's ‘Brilliantly connected’ event in March of 2017. Robyn has been on the list of the California Diversity council's 50 most powerful women in Technology for 2015 and 2016.
