Group General Manager Customer Operations and Human Resources
Sue is a member of the Transurban Executive Team and is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years’ experience. Sue’s executive portfolio expanded in August 2012 when she was appointed to the position of Group General Manager, Customer Operations and Human Resources. She is currently responsible for the service experience of over 5 million Transurban customers. She also leads the People and Culture function for the Transurban Group.
Sue has played a significant role in the growth of the Transurban Group and has been the lead for the People and Change work streams in numerous mergers and acquisitions for the company, most recently for the acquisition of Queensland Motorways.
Sue has a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Science and is a member of the AHRI National Presidents Forum and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
She has a passion for Diversity of Thought and is proud of Transurban’s achievements in this area. Transurban appointed its third female Non-Executive Director to the Board in 2016 and the Executive Committee is 45 per cent women. Transurban has received the WGEA Citation Award for 3 consecutive years - the only company in its industry to achieve this.
