Hargrave Enterprise Pte Ltd
Toni Brendish is the founder and Director of Hargrave Enterprise Pte Ltd. An Asian based product and services organisation focused on developing and implementing new product expansion within ASEAN.
Toni has over 30 years’ general management experience, including over 10 years in CEO/ Managing Director roles, leading businesses of up to U$2bn in the Consumer Goods sector in Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia), Australia and New Zealand. Prior to establishing Hargrave she was Vice President for the largest Consumer goods business in Thailand: DKSH (Thailand) Ltd managing a team of 2300 and revenue of $USD 2 billion.
Before joining DKSH Toni was President Director PT Danone Indonesia and PT Danone Dairy Indonesia, she was appointed President Director for the Danone Dairy businesses in September 2013. In this role she had responsibility for Indonesia as well as the South East Asian Hub for Dairy. The business includes four Manufacturing sites producing over 122,000 tonnes with more than 1500 people. In Indonesia Danone was the market leader in ambient beverages for children with the very successful Milkuat brand.
Prior to taking this role Toni was Managing Director from April 2009 to August 2013 of Danone Dumex (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Dumex was the leading manufacturer of Baby and Child Nutrition products in Malaysia. In this role Toni was responsible for the Malaysian and Brunei businesses as well as the Nilai Supply Point, which supplied Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia and Myanmar. The business employed in excess of 450 people covering Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Research and Development, Finance, Sales and Marketing.
Before taking the Malaysian role Toni was Managing Director of Nutricia Australia and New Zealand; another Danone Groupe company, where she was responsible for spearheading the firm's growth as one of Australasia's leading manufacturers of Baby Food. During Toni's management of the position, Nutricia secured the position of fastest growing product in Australasia for the Baby Food category and in 4 years doubled the size of the business.
With a powerful marketing and management pedigree providing valuable expertise in developing and growing businesses, she started her career within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods arena working for companies such as Unilever Australia, Coca-Cola (UK), Rank Hovis McDougall (UK) and Colgate Palmolive Australia. Toni subsequently joined consumer products manufacturer, Kimberly-Clark Australia, where she was the Corporate Services Manager with specific accountability for Acquisitions, Research, Strategy and Consumer Services. She was then promoted to the position of General Manager, New Zealand. On her return to Australia, Toni set up a healthcare business for Kimberly-Clark.
Toni successfully transitioned to the telecommunications industry as a General Manager at Telstra, then as Marketing Director at Orange (Hutchison Telecommunications).
Toni has a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University, a Post Graduate Diploma from the University of Sydney; she is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a past President of the Marketing Women's Network.
