A scholarship for women working in Indonesian International Trade
- CEW has partnered with Investing in Women, Katalis and DFAT to offer one scholarship to an Australian woman working in international trade with Indonesia or looking to promote trade and investment between the two countries.
About the scholarship
The Australia/Indonesia International Trade Scholarship is open to mid to senior level women working in, or looking to work in, the International Business/Trade sector between Australia and Indonesia.
Eligible applicants will have flexibility to choose a course that best suits their needs OR apply to complete one of the courses suggested below. If applicants opt to select their own course this can be offered by any higher education school, anywhere around the world, delivered online or face-to-face however all elements of the course must be completed by end of November 2022.
Applications will be open to candidates nationally and one scholarship will be awarded to the value of $20,000 inclusive of a $3k travel allowance, if required.
The following two courses are provided for consideration as appropriate to this scholarship:
INSEAD Leading Across Borders & Cultures
5-day course commencing 17 October 2022, Fontainebleau France (in person)
University of Monash Indonesia Leading Complexity
4-week course sessions on Mondays 15 August – 5 September (online)
Who should apply?
Mid to senior executive (CEO, or no more than 3 levels down from CEO) in a business engaged or planning to engage in trade or investment between Australia and Indonesia
5 or more years general management experience (i.e., business unit, line or functional management incorporating key responsibilities such as P&L management, strategic planning, and people leadership)
Must be committed to developing the long-term business relationship between Australia and Indonesia and have future intention to engage in Indonesia
Endorsement from senior management or the Board of her organization
Applicants must choose one of the suggested courses OR an international business trade leadership course
Australian citizen or resident
