Empowering Women Leaders: CEW Scholarships

The CEW Scholarships Program is one of the most direct ways CEW supports women to break through and become the leaders they want to be. Since the program’s founding in 1992, our scholarships have enhanced the careers of more than 299 exceptional women across numerous industries, including the arts, science, technology, engineering and maths, the public service, and health.

Our Scholarships

Each CEW Scholarship represents a life changing opportunity. They provide women with the chance to study, learn, and accelerate their careers at some of the world’s most influential institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School, INSEAD, Oxford Said Business School, Melbourne Business School and more.

CEW offers several scholarships to prescribed courses which must be completed within 12 months* of being awarded. Course and educational institution information, including the course brochure and course dates, can be found on each scholarships’ page.

Other scholarships invite applicants to find their own course that they can complete (and are eligible for) within 12 months of being awarded the scholarship. For these scholarships, awardees must be able to articulate in their application why they have chosen the course and how it will benefit them in their current and future role. Know that when you receive a scholarship, CEW is invested in your career and your success in the long-term. You’ll join the CEW Connect Women Community, a network of peers and mentors who have completed any of CEW’s leadership programs, which will be a source of support and knowledge over the duration of your career.

Please note that as CEW members are more senior than scholarship recipients, they are not eligible to apply for CEW Scholarships. CEW members are encouraged to participate by joining a scholarships review panel, encouraging women in their networks to apply, or supporting the CEW Leaders Program. To express interest in joining a CEW Scholarships review panel, please email scholarships@cew.org.au.
