Our Silent Auction is back! Bid on one or all of the prizes and be sure to keep checking so you don’t get outbid. The auction will be announced at the end of the night. Register with Gala Bid to review the prizes to prepare your opening bid, some prizes include:

Lisa Annese (1)

Lisa Annese

CEO, Chief Executive Women

Lisa Annese commenced her role as the Chief Executive Officer of Chief Executive Women in January 2025 and is committed to the empowerment of women and girls across the economy.

Prior to this, Lisa spent 10 years as the CEO of the Diversity Council Australia, where she led a broad array of groundbreaking, evidence-based research, including Australia’s first national index on workplace diversity and inclusion, seminal research on the economics of the gender pay gap, and original work on Counting Culture and building Asian Leadership Capability, as well as research supporting individuals being ‘Out at Work’, mainstreaming flexible work, and myth-busting workplace responses to sexual harassment and domestic and family violence. 

In 2024, Lisa was appointed to the NSW Women’s Advisory Council and reappointed to the Respect at Work Council by the Attorney-General, implementing the legislative reforms from the Respect@Work Act. In 2018, Lisa was named one of the AFR’s 100 Women of Influence. In 2019 she was elected to the Board of Amnesty International Australia and, in 2021, to the Board of the non-partisan organisation Women for Election. As well as being their CEO, Lisa is also a member of Chief Executive Women.

Lisa has had a long career progressing positive change across the corporate, government, and not-for-profit sectors. Earlier in her career, at the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (formerly the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA)), she developed the first-ever census of Australian Women in Leadership, the first-ever Business Achievement Awards, the creation of the Employer of Choice for Women citation, and the development and implementation of the policy framework for the EOWA Act 1999 with Australian businesses. For her contribution at EOWA, she was awarded a Medal for Significant Contribution to the Australian Public Service.

Sue Morphet

 NED,  Campbell Arnott's and Past President, CEW

Sue Morphet has over 40 years of brand, consumer goods, manufacturing and retail management experience across Australia and New Zealand.

Sue is currently a director of The Arnott’s Group. She is a member of the Corporate Council for the European Business Council (EABC).

Between 2015 and 2021, Sue has been a non-executive director of Asaleo Care Limited, Mosaic Brands Limited, Fisher and Paykel, Godfreys, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Kings School Foundation and Save the Children Australia.

Sue was the President of Chief Executive Women from 2019-2020, Chair of National Tiles Pty Ltd from 2015-2020 and Chair of Manufacturing Australia from 2012-2014.

From 1996 to 2012 Sue was a senior executive of Pacific Brands Limited. During her time as CEO 2007 -2012, Sue transformed the company, moving manufacturing offshore, building a retail business and eliminating nearly 200 marginal brands.

Georgie Somerset AM

Chair, Royal Flying Doctor Service Queensland

Georgie is based on her family’s cattle property in Queensland’s South Burnett and is actively involved in the operation of the multi-generational family business. For many years she has juggled the demands of beef production alongside her roles in many influential organisations.

Georgie currently holds positions across the not-for-profit, government and industry sectors including the Chair of the Royal Flying Doctor Service Queensland, Chair of the Red Earth Community Foundation and Deputy Chair of Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She also holds director positions on the National Farmers Federation and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.

Her passion for advocating for rural Australia and her service to primary industries and the community saw her named as a Member of the Order of Australia in 2020.

Megan Corfield

Founder & CEO, Glass Ladder

Megan is a strategic business woman that has a track record of creating new business growth and delivering value. Grounded, visionary and innovative Megan has the ability to see talent in individuals and bring them together to create the ‘best team on the field’.

With over 24 years’ experience in CEO and other C-Suite roles delivering strategy, startups’ growth and transformation across industries including energy, sustainability, government and management consulting.

Megan also has 13 years’ experience as a NonExec Director on boards for both private and public companies bringing strategy, transformation, digital strategy, innovation, customer and finance skills to organisations in engineering consulting, property, sports administration, major events, tourism, water and energy sectors.
Megan has chaired boards and numerous board subcommittees for these organisations.

Recognised as a past Queensland Telstra Business Woman of the year, AFR 100 most influential women, the USA Visiting Leaders in renewable energy and climate change, she is also the current Queensland Chair of Chief Executive Women.
