Alexandra Bell

I am a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years financial services experience in the UK and Australia. I have a proven track-record for leading high performing and diverse teams; and have the empathy and tenacity to make a difference. I am recognised as a decisive leader with strong commercial acumen in insurance and wealth management. Having started my career as an auditor with KPMG in London, I have since excelled in a variety of finance roles with AXA, Westpac and Challenger – ever inquisitive to understand business drivers and add value. Gaining experience in large-scale finance transformation projects (including general ledger migration) as well as being a champion for ongoing process improvement and simplification, I have learnt to be resourceful and developed outstanding communication skills. I am passionate about flexible work practices to develop a pipeline of future female leaders. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, an Associate member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
