Alison Harrop

Alison Harrop

Alison Harrop is the Chief Financial Officer at Stockland, an ASX50 publicly listed company, responsible for the overall finance function, including taxation, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations. Alison has over 25 years of experience in finance management in Australia and overseas. She has worked across multi-disciplinary finance, risk and assurance teams for organisations including Dexus, Australia Post, Macquarie Group and Deutsche Bank. She is a director of the G100 and sponsor of the G100 Diversity and Inclusion working group, and also the deputy Chair of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. Alison is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics, from Loughborough University in England. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Alison was awarded Public Sector Finance Manager of the Year in The Australian Financial Review's CFO Awards for 2013. Alison was previously a director and mentor at Financial Executives Institute (FEI) and has actively engaged and mentored women in finance throughout her career. As a Director of FEI she advocated for, and achieved, a greater number of female mentees in its program.
