Amanda Hutton

Amanda Hutton is currently the Telstra Retail & Regional Executive where she is accountable for building Telstra into a world class retailer, delivering growth in our retail and partner channels and supporting our communities in regional Australia. Telstra is a large scale national retailer with complex operations managed through approx 300 retail stores and with over 4,500 staff. Prior to this Amanda was the Consumer Executive, responsible for managing Telstra’s 9 million consumer customers who collectively generate more than AUD$11 billion in annual revenues. She led a team accountable for Telstra’s consumer mobile, fixed broadband, media, services and device offerings. This included end-to-end customer value proposition development, marketing, pricing, devices and distribution strategy. She has also held roles leading the Consumer & Small Business digital transformation program and the Customer Experience Group, leading teams responsible for creating brilliant customer experiences by building simplified products, seamless digital journeys and coordinating the build and transition to a new technology platform. Amanda has more than 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry gained through senior roles managing contact centres, customer experience, product management (digital, content and media products & applications) and commercial legal. Amanda has a Bachelor of Commerce/LLB from the University of New South Wales. She lives in Sydney, Australia with her family and is a keen bushwalker and big sports fan.
