Dr Amanda Rischbieth PhD FAICD


Amanda is a Visiting Scientist at Harvard University, a position she has held for over 4 years after being competitively selected as one of 40 global leaders as a Harvard Advanced Leadership Fellow in 2017.


Her key expertise and interests are in ESG, Sustainability, Health, and Governance. She leads a boutique advisory service for boards and CEOs and mentors emerging women leaders.


Amanda sits on the global Advisory Council for the Harvard Business School Impact-Weighted Accounts Initiative (impact valuation), bringing her extensive experience in business, academia, and health into environmental, social, governance (ESG) matters including building roadmaps and performance measurement for long-term value creation.


She chairs the National Blood Authority, Australia, is a Non-Executive Director (NED) of Duxton Farms Ltd (ASX-DBF) and a Fellow and Faculty of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is a former Telstra Business Women's Award Finalist in two categories.


Amanda has over 22 years Non-Executive Director experience (National Heart Foundation SA, South Australian Motor Sport Board (V8 500), Camp Quality, Renewal SA, Australian Organ and Tissue Authority, Leaders Institute of SA) including chair roles, and was CEO of a leading health organisation for 6 years.


Her PhD in 2007 focused on intensive care decision-support systems and earlier in her career she established and co-led an Intensive Care Unit for ten years. 


In 2018 she went to Sri Lanka with the Hands-On group fitting 247 prosthetic hands to landmine victims.
