Amanda Yeates

Amanda, as the CEO of SunCentral, leads the development of the Maroochydore City Centre, Australia's largest greenfield CBD project. This $6 billion investment in a 53-hectare site aims to create a vibrant city heart for the Sunshine Coast region. Previously, Amanda served as the Deputy Director General at the Department of Transport and Main Roads, overseeing a $27 billion transport infrastructure program. She is currently a Board Director with Powerlink, Queensland's $10 billion electricity transmission system owner, and chairs its Mega Projects Committee. Amanda has extensive experience in leading major public infrastructure programs and is passionate about using public infrastructure to promote inclusivity, economic vibrancy, and community development. She is a strong advocate for inclusive and diverse workplaces, which is reflected in her professional and personal networks.
