Andrea Slattery

Andrea Slattery currently serves on the boards of Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Argo Global Listed Infrastructure, Centrepoint Alliance Ltd and the South Australian Cricket Association. She has sat on Boards & Advisory Committees in publicly scrutinized, highly regulated, high-profile environments with significant government, industry, consumer exposure and media engagement for 11 years in ASX, Commercial, Government and NFP sectors. Andrea's previous advisory appointments include World Vision, the Australian Government's Innovation and Investment Partnership, the Peak Superannuation Advisory Group and the Australian Treasury's Industry Consensus Working Group. In 2003 Andrea co-founded the Self-Managed Super Fund Association where she was Managing Director & CEO for 14 years and built an international reputation as one of the most significant contributors in building Australia's superannuation systems. She successfully engaged with the Federal Government in overturning proposed legislation to eradicate the SMSF sector in 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master's in Commerce from the University of South Australia and is a SMSF Specialist Advisor, a Fellow of the Australian institute of Company Directors and an alumni of Harvard Business School. Andrea was invited to present at the Australian Tax Summit in 2012 and was part of the Prime Minister's and Treasurer's Ministerial delegation to China in 2013 and 2014. She has also presented on retirement income strategies in Europe (to the United Nations), US, UK and Vietnam. Andrea was awarded 'Australian Woman of the Year in Financial Services' 2014, nominated for 'Australian of the Year' in 2017 and a finalist in the 'Telstra Business Women's Awards' (SA) 2016. She was awarded 'AFL Mother of the Year' in 2009.
