Angela Scaffidi
Angela Scaffidi is managing partner of SenateSHJ, a leading consultancy which specialises in change and reputation. Over the past 20 years she has built SenateSHJ from a three-person start up to a trans-Tasman business with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Wellington. SenateSHJ is now a member of PROI Worldwide, a partnership of more than 80 consultancies with 7,500 employees and combined billings of US$1.075 billion. Angela sits on the PROI Worldwide board and is a co-chair for the APAC region. Angela is SenateSHJ’s head of change. She helps boards and leadership teams to understand their change aspirations and to take the steps required to achieve sustainable change. Prior to establishing SenateSHJ, she worked at McKinsey & Company and Turnbull Fox Phillip. Angela is deputy chair of Challenge: supporting kids with cancer, one of Australia’s longest running children’s cancer charities. She established the Scaffidi Foundation to support families living with cancer and in memory of her mother and sister. The foundation organised financial and other support for families and now provides an educational scholarship each year. She is chair of the Missing Persons Advocacy Network, Australia’s only not for profit that supports the families of long-term missing Australians. Until recently she was a director of McAuley Community Services for Women, a not for profit that provides housing and wraparound services to women experiencing family violence. Angela lectured in the post-graduate communication program at RMIT University for many years. She is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
