Anna Dartnell

Anna Dartnell is the Group Executive Bulk with Aurizon. In this KMP role with ASX-listed freight behemoth Aurizon, she leads a workforce of over 2000 people who deliver supply chain and logistics services to customers across all Australian mainland States and the Northern Territory. A proven operational leader, Anna began her working life in the field of Industrial Relations and Organisational Effectiveness within the WA mining sector, later moving to develop supply chain and logistics expertise in some of Australia’s most iconic manufacturing and distribution businesses. She credits her career journey for building a unique mix of people, process and commercial skills, that have combined with deep industry experience spanning Resources, Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics. Anna was a 2017 Telstra Business Women’s Awards finalist, is a former Western Australian 40Under40 award winner and was the 2013 recipient of the University of WA Strategic Alliance Award. In addition to her role with Aurizon, Anna is a Non-Executive Director with Brightwater Care Group Ltd and serves on the Board of the Freight & Logistics Council of Western Australia. She’s a former Director of the Kimberley Ports Authority and NAWO (Australia’s peak body representing women in operations), as well as serving as a Board Member (2013-2015) and then Chair of the Board (2015-2018) with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. With operations across the nation, her home base is Western Australia, where she lives with her husband, Roger, and children, Sophie & Tim.
