Anouk Darling
Anouk is one of Australia’s leading brand builders, known for her global outlook and commercial creativity. She has transformed brands across various industries, including the creation of Jetstar and Scentre Group and the rebranding of Westpac and Westfield. Her career led her to Scape Australia as CEO in July 2020, following her consultancy on the $2.2 billion Urbanest acquisition and rebranding. Anouk navigated Scape through the global pandemic and advocated for the return of international students to Australia. Under her leadership, Scape has grown to 800 employees, 38 operating businesses, and over 17,000 apartments, with significant developments in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Build to Rent (BTR). Anouk champions the PBSA industry and student experiences as the inaugural Chair of the Student Accommodation Council and an expert advisor for Minister Jason Clare MP’s Council for International Education. She also serves on the board of the Property Council of Australia and as a non-executive director for Enero Group (ASX: EGG) and Discovery Holiday Parks.
