Anthea McKinnell BComm, MinTax, FCA, GAICD
Ms McKinnell is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. She holds a Master of International Tax from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University. Non-executive director and experienced executive with more than 20 years’ experience with listed public companies most recently as CFO of Santos Ltd prior to retirement from executive roles to progress a NED career in late 2024. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and capital markets through a broad range of finance and business roles at the senior executive and C-suite level. Holds strong established relationships in the resources industry, government and financial markets. Broad experience as director of subsidiary companies both in Australia and foreign jurisdictions, comprehensive understanding of operational and financial risk management. Anthea McKinnell was appointed to the Transgrid board in June 2025 as an independent director and is the Chair of the Board Audit and Risk Committee.
