    Bridget Messer
    Bridget Messer?is Chief Risk Officer at?Suncorp, one of Australia's leading financial institutions. She oversees risk and compliance management, risk strategy, customer advocate and key policy and government relationships. Bridget has extensive international experience, including ASX and FTSE 250, across insurance, leadership, organisational transformation and resilience, business performance, customer experience, fintech, risk and strategy. Her previous experience includes 16 years at?IG Group Holdings, a prominent London-based derivatives trading platform where her roles included, Executive Director and Chief Commercial Officer, Global Head of Compliance, and General Counsel. She also gained significant experience in financial services at?Deutsche Bank?and?Corrs Chambers Westgarth Lawyers. Bridget holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Dean’s Honour List) from the Queensland University of Technology, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Education & Training from the University of Queensland.
