Carolyn Reynolds
Carolyn Reynolds joined ASX50 publicly listed company Vicinity Centres in 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience as a commercial litigation and corporate lawyer. In her current role as General Counsel, Carolyn has oversight of the safety, risk, compliance, company secretarial, lease administration and legal functions, and is a Director of the Vicinity Centres' subsidiary Boards. Prior to her current appointment, Carolyn was a partner at law firm Minter Ellison from 2003. Carolyn's experience over this time featured work on Las Vegas Sands Corp's bid for the rights to develop and operate the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort in Singapore. Carolyn has a long history of pro-bono legal work and involvement with not-for-profit organisations such as providing pro bono legal advice to and subsequently acting as a Non-Executive Director of Glenorchy Art and Sculpture Park, and chairing the committee of management of the Moreland Community Legal Centre. She was also the pro bono legal adviser to the Ovarian Cancer Council Australia from 2001 until appointed to its board as a Non-Executive Director in 2007, a role which she continues to hold. Carolyn holds a Bachelor degree in Arts and an Honours degree in Law from the University of Adelaide along with a Master's degree in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and ACC Australia, and undertook the Williamson Community Leadership Program in 2006.
