Caryn Katsikogianis
Caryn Katsikogianis was appointed Chief People Officer of Woolworths, an ASX50 publicly listed company, in 2016. She is responsible for the People Portfolio as well as Safety and Wellbeing and Internal Communications providing support for 200,000 team members across approximately 3000 sites across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Caryn joined Woolworths in 2004, holding a number of senior HR roles across the business including BIG W, Supply Chain, Supermarkets, Corporate Support and Food Group.
Caryn also held the role of General Manager, Business Transformation during this time.
Caryn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa and a post-graduate certificate in Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Caryn is passionate about driving Woolworth's goals of 40% of executive positions being held by women by 2020; closing the gender pay gap by 2020; maintaining the company's status as a recognised employer for disabilities; and as an Ally of the Proud Committee (LGBTI) whose program has won ‚Äö'Out for Australia' Awards.
