Courtenay Smith

Courtenay Smith

Courtenay has 24 years’ experience as a finance professional with management skills across the areas of leadership, strategy, governance, risk management, finance, operations and transformation. She has worked in senior finance and operational management roles within the investment, property and construction sectors in Australia, Asia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

 

Courtenay is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Mirvac, a role she has been in since March 2021. Mirvac is an ASX Top 50 Company operating in the Australian Property Industry and as CFO, Courtenay is responsible for driving the financial performance.

 

Prior to joining Mirvac, Courtenay had a 23-year career at Lendlease, an ASX Top 50 Company with Global Operations spanning Australia, Asia, UK and the US. At Lendlease Courtenay held several senior positions across all four geographies. And just prior to leaving Courtenay was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Property Australia.

 

Courtenay holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant. She has also attended a number of Executive Leadership courses at both Wharton Business School and Instead.

 

In addition, Courtenay is a Director of the Board of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, she also chairs the Steering Group for the Bachelor of Accounting Degree at the University of Technology, Sydney and is a member of the CFO Roundtable for the Property Council of Australia.
