Danielle Blain

Danielle Blain is currently a Director of both Schaffer Corporation Ltd, a publicly listed company on The Australian Stock Exchange and the EON Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which focuses on the importance of healthy nutrition for the reduction of preventable and chronic diseases in aboriginal children. Earlier in her career, Danielle was the Managing Director of a manufacturing company (employing some 250 people) which made and exported furniture leather around the world. Early this year, Danielle was appointed Chair of a major comprehensive review of the Liberal Party of WA. This has just been completed.
Throughout her career, Danielle has been actively involved in numerous school, university, government and charitable boards. She is a popular mentor to both young women and men seeking advice as to their future direction.
In 2003, she was elected the first female State President of the Liberal Party of WA and in 2015 received an Honorary Life Membership of the Liberal Party of WA. She was an inaugural inductee into the Western Australian Women’s Hall of Fame, and in 2018 was appointed a member of The Order of Australia for “significant service to business and commerce, to politics in Western Australia and to women”.
