Dayle Stevens

Dayle is a technology executive who loves solving big problems and enabling potential. Dayle’s current role is Executive Director for Cloud, Data and Shared Technology at Telstra, where she is responsible for the technology that underpins and enables all of Telstra. Prior to this Dayle was Chief Data Officer at AGL Energy. Previous roles have included Divisional CIO and other roles at National Australia Bank, and as an IT consultant with PWC working all over the world helping businesses transform through the adoption of new technologies. Dayle is the Board Chair at Robogals Global, an international not-for-profit organisation that aims to increase female participation in engineering, science and technology. Dayle is a member of the IT Advisory Committee at Trinity College, University of Melbourne. Dayle is an ambassador at Girl Geek Academy, a global movement encouraging women to learn technology, create startups and build the internet. Dayle has been a guest lecturer and tutor at Cambridge University UK for the Queen's Young Leaders Programme on the topic of building scalable & sustainable businesses. Also mentoring QYL award winners over multiple years, resulting in an invitation to Buckingham Palace and meeting Her Majesty, The Queen in recognition of her work. Dayle’s work has been recognised with multiple industry and professional awards, including being named in the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence, and this year being awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her services to information technology and to women.
