    Deanne Stewart was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of First State Super in October 2018. Prior to joining First State Super, Deanne was Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Australia. Deanne has more than 20 years' experience in financial services in superannuation and insurance sectors in Australia and internationally. She has held senior roles within BT Financial Group including as General Manager for Superannuation, Marketing and Direct Channels, and at Merrill Lynch as Managing Director Investment Management in New York. Deanne has a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance & Marketing from the University of NSW and a Master's in Business Administration from Yale School of Management which she was awarded as a Fulbright Scholar. Deanne serves on the Advisory Board for AGSM and FSC's Life Board. She is a former member of Westpac's Superannuation Board.
