Delphine Cassidy

Reporting directly to the CEO at Orica (ASX:ORI), Delphine has a broad range of responsibilities in a highly complex and regulated global company. Her recent experience also includes four years on the Board at Simonds Homes (ASX:SIO). She is one of the top three female executives at Orica, and is well regarded for her ability to deliver successful outcomes in challenging business environments. Delphine has been responsible for leading Orica through its most important equity market challenges and opportunities, media, and employee engagement environments. She chairs the corporate crisis committee, and is central to the company’s most significant operational, financial and M&A events. With her deep understanding of corporate governance and risk management frameworks, she actively advises and leads the Chairman and Chair of the Remuneration Committee on the governance and pre-AGM institutional investor engagement programs. She proactively engages with proxy advisors, activists and ESG analysts to clearly articulate the company’s delivery against its 2050 net zero ambition. As founder of her own consulting company, Delphine provided advice on governance, compliance, and equity market engagement to ASX 300 Boards. As Remuneration Committee Chair for SIO, she implemented a performance-based remuneration structure. She was also a member of the Audit & Risk Committee where she implemented a risk management framework . In addition to her listed company background, as Treasurer for MacRobertson Girls’ High School, Delphine has a deep understanding of school board governance . Delphine holds a Bachelor of Accounting, MBA and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Directors.
