Eileen Hoggett

Eileen Hoggett is currently a member of KPMG Australia's National Executive Committee and is KPMG's National Managing Partner - Audit, Assurance & Risk Consulting (AARC). She was appointed into this role on 1 July 2021 and reports directly to the CEO of KPMG Australia. The AARC business which Eileen is responsible for has over 3,000 employees and 160 partners. Eileen joined KPMG as a graduate and has been with the firm for over 29 years, specialising in providing audit and assurance services to clients in the property, construction and funds management industries. She made partner in 2005 and was on the Board of KPMG Australia from 2016 for 5 years. In September 2017, she became the Partner in Charge - External Audit, a role which she held until her appointment to the National Executive Committee. Eileen is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion and is a member of KPMG’s Diversity & Inclusion Board. She is also KPMG's senior sponsor for Domestic and Family Violence and an Advocate for Women's Community Shelters.She is currently a board member of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Previous board experience includes a member of the Audit Committee for St Vincent's Health Australia, a Board member of Alzheimer’s Australia (NSW) and, for 10 years, a Board member and Audit Committee Chair of CatholicCare, the welfare agency of the Catholic church.Eileen is also the Independent Auditor of the Australian National Audit Office. This is a 5-year appointment made by the Prime Minister and the Governor General.
