    Elana Rubin

    Elana is currently Chair of Afterpay and a director of Telstra and Slater & Gordon. She is also Chair of Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) and a director of Transurban Queensland and Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC). 


    Elana was previously the chair of AustralianSuper, one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, and WorkSafe Victoria. Other previous board roles covered the property, financial services, insurance, infrastructure, innovation, public policy, professional services and not-for-profit sectors.  She is a director of the not for profit organisation Teach for Australia and was previously on the board of SecondBite.


    Elana received a Member of the Order of Australia in 2021 for services to corporate governance and community.
