Elizabeth Koff
Elizabeth Koff was appointed Secretary of NSW Health in 2016 from the role of Deputy Secretary, Strategy and Resources. Elizabeth has overall responsibility for the management and oversight of NSW Health, the largest public health system in Australia, with 230 hospitals. She was previously Chief Executive of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network and has held senior executive planning and operational roles within the NSW health system, including Director of Clinical Operations and Director Population Health, Planning and Performance at South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service. Elizabeth commenced her career as an allied health professional gaining 13 years of clinical and management experience in a number of teaching hospitals in New South Wales and Victoria. Following completion of a Master of Public Health at Monash University in 1994, Elizabeth returned to the NSW health system in planning and service development roles. In 2011 Elizabeth was the recipient of a scholarship to attend the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Sydney.
