Ellie Comerford

Ellie is a result oriented, high-energy, senior executive who has consistently achieved sustainable financial and business objectives within start-up, turnaround and change environments; most recently as CEO and Managing Director of Genworth Australia (ASX:GMA). Extensive experience across a range of areas; banking and finance, insurance, structured finance and capital markets, risk management, operational and organisation transformation, people and culture development and key stakeholder management including shareholders, governments, communities, regulators, consumers and industry bodies. Proven track record operating successfully at C-level executive and directorship level for the last fifteen years. Ellie was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Genworth Australia (ASX: GMA) from 2010 to 2015. In leading the business, Ellie introduced a range of strategic initiatives to support customers, industry stakeholders and employees of all levels. Most notably during her tenure at Genworth, Ellie lead the company to a successful IPO on the ASX in May 2014.
