Emma Harrington

Emma Harrington is former CEO of the iconic NRMA Motoring and Membership business since 2020, responsible for delivering best-in-class roadside assistance, and leading the transformation to an electric future. Emma is a strategic and purpose led business leader, bringing over 20 years international experience spanning technology, media and digital driven organisations, and the last five years with the NRMA. She brings a wealth of experience building innovative, human centred culture and delivering large scale transformational change. Emma is non-executive Director of Club Assist Pty. and non-executive Director of Electric Vehicle Council. Emma has been a significant contributor to the advancement of diversity, equity and inclusion at the NRMA and is the founding Executive Sponsor and Ally of NRMA’s Shine program focussed on LGBTQI+ inclusion. NRMA was named a bronze employer for LGBTQI+ employee inclusion at the 2022 Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) awards and most improved employer. Emma holds a Masters degree in Political Science and Awarded Australian CX Leader of the Year, 2019.
