Emma Hogan
Group Executive | Strategy & Corporate Affairs at Ventia
Em Hogan will commence in her role as Group Executive Strategy & Corporate Affairs in January 2024.
Between October 2019 and November 2023, Em was the Secretary for Digital and the NSW Department of Customer Service, where she transitioned from her role as the NSW Public Service Commissioner which she commenced in May 2018.
Prior to joining Government, Em had a 20 year career in the private sector, working with iconic Australian brands across hospitality, retail, aviation, media and entertainment. Em is an experienced transformation leader across customer, digital, people, culture and communications, and has led teams of over 13,000 people in Australia and globally.
Em holds postgraduate qualifications in HR and Business Management, is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program and holds an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Business.
Em is currently a board member at Destination NSW, where she is also the Chair of the People Committee. Previously, Em has held board roles at the NSW Telco Authority (2020-2022), Can Too Foundation (2014-18) and AIME (2015-19).
Em is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia, and is the NSW Chapter Chair for Chief Executive Women.
