Erica Smyth

I have over 50 years of experience, initially as a minerals exploration geologist and later in project management, government approvals, corporate affairs and community interactions in the mineral and petroleum industries. For the last 20 years I have been a professional company director and am now transitioning into retirement at the end of 2024. My board roles have been diverse with focus on risk identification and mitigation. My longer term board roles have included Senate of UWA, Diabetes Research WA, RFDS (WA) , ANSTO, Scitech, NOPSEMA, ICRAR and MinEX CRC. I hope to continue to engage with professional women through sharing lessons I have learned along the way and by assisting in strategic long term thinking and providing challenge.
