Eva Skira

Eva Skira held positions as an economist and finance professional in corporate banking, institutional stockbroking, capital markets and derivatives. She joined the Commonwealth Bank and subsequently worked with BZW Australia, a stockbroking subsidiary of Barclays Bank. Her clients included major Australian and Asian institutions. Eva is currently a non-executive director at ASX listed entities RCR Tomlinson Ltd and Macmahon Contractors Ltd. Eva is also Chairman of Trustees of St John of God Health Care and a member of the inaugural Board for the WA Parks Foundation. Eva is also Immediate Past Chairman of the Water Corporation of Western Australia. Eva has also served as Chairman at Westscheme (the largest superannuation fund in WA and oversaw the merger with AustralianSuper) and the Forest Products Commission, Deputy Chairman at Metrobus (formerly Transperth), non-executive director of Doric Construction Group, Deputy Chancellor of Murdoch University and a Board Member of MDA National Insurance. Born and schooled in Tasmania, Eva completed her 1st Class Honours Degree in Economic History at the University of New South Wales, and went on to achieve a distinction in her Masters of Business Administration, becoming Dux of her class at IMD International, an internationally ranked tier one business school based in Switzerland.
