Our members share a unifying goal: to remove systemic barriers and create pipelines that enable Australian women to rise to leadership positions in their communities. This ensures a diversity of women's voices at every decision-making table while supporting both women and men to thrive—at work and home.
Fiona Macgregor
I am a senior executive with experience in growth strategy, customer-led innovation, complex transformation and technology leadership, predominantly in financial services. My experience set is useful for organisations who want or need to change. I have been a member of the executive team at TAL, Australia’s leading life insurer, since 2015 and a key contributor to strategy over a period where our business has tripled in size. Since 2018 I have held the role of Chief Information & Innovation Officer, with responsibility for Technology delivery and Platform innovation across all business channels. I also hold executive responsibility for our major integration programs related to TAL’s acquisitions of Suncorp and Westpac’s life insurance businesses. I am an active part of Dai-ichi Life's (TAL's parent company) global innovation and technology taskforces, helping shape our global approach in these areas. Immediately prior to joining TAL, I worked as an independent consultant, advising some of the UK’s largest service brands on innovation culture and growth strategy. I spent the first part of my career with a leading UK bank, latterly focused on customer-led innovation in European, US and Asian markets. I am a strong sponsor of female talent at TAL and in the Australian technology community more widely.
