Gail Hambly

Gail is Chair of St Vincents Clinic and the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership and she is a director of Australian Associated Press Ltd. She has been a director of a number of listed and unlisted companies. Her professional training is as intellectual property, commercial and media lawyer.
She has experience and expertise in the integration of digital technology, cultural change and new business models to transform businesses challenged by changing competitive markets and digital disruption as well as in the growth of new technology businesses.
She was for 25 years Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of Fairfax Media Limited, with responsibility for all legal services, government and corporate relations and communications, ASX and Corporations Law compliance, Board governance and the internal audit and risk function across the Fairfax Group.
She is a legal practitioner and has degrees in Law, Science and Economics.
