Gail Pemberton AO

Before transitioning to a non-executive director career, Gail was a senior executive in the financial services industry for more than 30 years with a particular focus on the banking and wealth management sectors and the technology and operations that underpin them. Her executive roles included the post of Chief Operating Officer UK at BNP Paribas Securities Services and CEO and Managing Director, BNP Paribas Securities Services, Australia and New Zealand. Gail joined BNP Paribas after a highly successful 20-year career at Macquarie Bank, where she held the role of Group CIO for twelve years, at a time of unprecedented change and expansion, and subsequently as COO of the Financial Services Group in her last three years at Macquarie. Gail's current Board roles include Chair of OneVue (ASX:OVH) and Melbourne IT (ASX:MLB) and Director of Paypal Australia and Eclipx (ASX:ECX). She has also worked with both the Federal and NSW Government in the past as an independent adviser on major transformation programs and on talent and capability enhancement. Gail previously served on the Boards of SIRCA and RoZetta Technology and Onthehouse (ASX:OTH) as independent Chair, and as a Non-Executive director on QIC, UXC (ASX:UXC), Baycorp, Alleron Funds Management, Air Services Australia, the Sydney Opera House Trust and Harvey World Travel (ASX:HWT).
