4. Gaye is a Partner based in Marsh McLennan’s Melbourne office and is a senior Human Resources professional with 30+ years’ experience across financial services, professional services and the public sector. With broad experience across the full range of HR functions, managing large global teams, and running businesses, Gaye was most recently Mercer’s Chief People & Culture Officer before joining our client facing team as a Strategic Client Executive. Gaye has held C-suite and senior HR leadership roles with KPMG, ANZ Banking Group, and Department of Justice. Gaye was the Executive Officer of the ANZ Staff Superannuation Fund and has experience in running a P&L. She has had responsibility for organisational remuneration over the last two decades of significant remuneration reform in Australia and has successfully integrated businesses for cultural and commercial success in large, transformational M&A transactions. Gaye holds a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Diploma in Business (HRM), is a Graduate of the AICD and a Director of HR Central – an Australian HR technology start up. Her governance experience includes Executive Director roles on five Mercer boards and was recently appointed to the Board of the Collingwood Football Club - Australia’s largest sporting club and brand. Over the last 20 years, she has been the Chairman and scholarship trustee of Mary Jane Lewis Scholarship Trust which was founded to address socio-economic and gender exclusion issues. She is a passionate advocate of inclusion and tapping into the power a human centred workplace can create.
