Georgina Williams

I am a professional director and serve on several boards. Currently I Chair United Nations Women Australia. At Australian Retirement Trust, I serve on the board and as the Chair of the Member Outcomes committee. As a Director of Heritage People’s Choice (recently merged Bank from Heritage Bank and also People’s Choice credit union). I also serve as a member of the Risk and Compliance Committee. In addition, I am a member of the Deakin University Council. I also serve on the Investment Committee and Audit and Risk Committee. Previously I have been a Director and Audit Committee member for ASX listed Reece Ltd ($6bn mkt cap) and Lifestyle Communities Ltd. ($1.5bn mkt cap). I have over 25 years’ experience in Banking and Superannuation including on the Executive team at Australian Super. Prior to that at Westpac Group and NAB. I have held a number of executive positions in both Australia and the United Kingdom. I have served as a member of the judging panel for the Top 50 CMO determining Australia’s top marketers from 2017-2022. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, and GAICD from AICD. I actively support women’s leadership, and advocate both privately (through my directorships), and publicly for improvements in gender equity measures. I have published opinion pieces and been member of leadership panels on superannuation equality as well as advocating for several successful policy changes including recently the low income super contribution.
